In April of 2023, I joined my friends Antonio, Jose and David on a birdwatching trip to Morocco, the first time I travelled to another country specifically to see and photograph birds. Needless to say, it was an incredible experience! We travelled from Marrakesh to the Atlas mountains to the dunes of Merzouga. The country is wonderful, the food is superb and the birdwatching is top-level. A special thank you to our guide Hamid, who expertly searched and found pretty much all the target species and was super nice the whole time. I cannot wait to go back there!
